ScotlandIS are proud to again be official supporters of the long-running “Empowering Women to Lead Digital Transformation” initiative, with applications open for its next cohort.
Organised by the leadership development specialists at Empowering You and supported by ScotlandIS, the 博天堂入口数字学院 and the Scottish Government, the “Empowering Women to Lead Digital Transformation” programs are a unique, 跨部门的项目, designed to address the challenge of gender diversity in the digital professions and foster the creation of an empowered and empowering network of female digital leaders across Scotland.
Since the launch of the initiative in 2021, the program has empowered and supported the development of over 300 female technology professionals, expanded the reach of the initiative to England, Northern Ireland and Wales, as well as been recognised for their efforts with a number of industry awards, including the recent Award for Diversity Initiative of the Year at the Scotland Women in Technology (SWiT) Awards.
Participation in the program is free of charge and accessible via an open application process, with the successful candidates being selected by a panel of leading digital professionals from across government and industry. The selected applicants take part in a three-month immersive and intensive leadership development journey, including in-person group workshops, one to one coaching with a dedicated coach and “challenge” based group projects, culminating in presenting to an audience of industry and government peers.
The initiative is cross-sector, so applicants are welcomed from any sector or size of organisation, whether that be public sector, 技术供应商, 金融服务, 制造业, 快速消费品, 航空航天和国防, 第三部门, education and academia or health. Applicants are also encouraged to apply regardless of digital discipline or career stage and previous cohorts have included participants ranging from entry level UX Designers through to Directors of IT and Heads of Digital Transformation.
This initiative is fully funded by a combination of industry and government Partners, who share Empowering You’s vision for a more diverse, inclusive and successful technology eco-system and the Autumn 2024 program is proudly sponsored by iomart, 凤凰集团, 博天堂入口数字学院, Sopra Steria and STV Group, with the support of the Scottish Government and ScotlandIS.
The closing date for applications to the Autumn 2024 program is the 16th 8月.
